Bikini Review: Lilly and Lime Chevron Balconette, 28FF

Lilly and Lime is a brand new Australian swimwear company catering to full busts.  I’m excited about this for several reasons – full bust swimwear is still pretty lacking in size options and unique designs, and the Australian full bust options are very limited.  Shipping overseas to Australia is cost prohibitive, and Lilly and Lime is bursting onto the scene to save the Aussies looking for a local swim company!  Lilly and Lime has launched with an impressive size range of 28-38 D-HH.  Many full bust swim stops at G – GG, so offering up to HH off the bat is

Bra Review: Comexim Luna, 60HH

As promised, today I am writing about the lovely Luna I was lucky enough to grab secondhand.  Comexim Luna is a long discontinued style, and looks exactly how its name implies.  Luna means “moon,” and this bra is very unique.  The moon print on the fabric is unlike any other bra I’ve ever seen!  It’s topped with an ivory lace trim and small, sweet bows.  It’s become one of my favorite bras, despite its less than perfect fit. From the front, all looks well.  Just look at that amazing moon print!!  Ahhh, I love it.  Seriously.  I also love the ivory

Bra Review: Curvy Kate Jewel 28FF

Switching gears today to my latest unlined acquisition.  I’m a sucker for purple and have long thought this bra was very beautiful, but Curvy Kate and I don’t always get along, shapewise.  Their bras in the past have been quite wide and shallow.  But Jewel is a somewhat newer style for them, and after reading enough reviews and checking measurements on Bratabase I decided she might be worth a shot and Amazon had the last one in a size that may work for me.  So, what’s a girl to do? Try it, of course!!  Ok, so I have my Bardot in

Bra Review: Comexim Sonia half cup, 60J

Some of my fellow bra-fanatics may be aware that my beloved Comexim has come out with 4 new styles for this fall season!  Exciting times ahead!  I instantly fell in love with the navy eyelash lace pattern and the peach-and-gray lace pattern.  Recently, I got my hands on the peach and gray, named Sonia, and it is just as beautiful in person as I expected! Just look at her <3 First of all, the color is fantastic on my naturally warm-toned skin.  The peach is much more subtle than I expected, and incredibly, this bra works as a nude on me.

Bra Review: Freya Arabella, 28FF

So I’ve been a little obsessed with the aesthetics of this bra ever since I discovered its existence.  Most Freyas I have tried have given me a pointy shape and the “Freya pucker” at the top of the cup, where the bra seems to ask for some tissue I just don’t have.  But when I came across this beauty on Reddit’s Bra Swap sub, for a very reasonable price, I couldn’t help myself.  It is pre-owned and shows some signs of wear, but still in good shape overall.  Enough rambling, let’s take a look at her. Just…. wow.  This is

Bra Review: Lulu Tout Madeleine, 30FF

I’m so backed up on reviews dear friends, and I promise eventually I will get caught up.  I have a stack waiting for me!  Today’s gem is Madeleine.  Madeleine is available on Figleaves for $39-$43 depending on the color you choose. Lulu Tout is a Figleaves brand, and the Madeleine is a molded tee shirt bra available in nude and black. The material is very soft and comfortable, and the bra is beautifully detailed. There’s a stretch lace overlay along the bottom and sides of the cup that extends part way up the straps, and beautiful sheer striped bows at

Bra Review: Curvy Kate Bardot 30FF

Hello loyal readers!  I’ve been seriously slacking this past week – to say classwork is dominating my time is an understatement!  So I’m going to try to make up for it today and do 2 reviews. First up is the stunning offering from Curvy Kate’s SS2015 (I think) line named Bardot.  She’s a gorgeous sheer black and purple number and for AW2015 is coming out in black and red.  Bardot is simply sexy, no other way to put it.  Bardot was a huge hit for Curvy Kate and can still be found on Figleaves in both the violet and cranberry colorways.

Bra Review: Lulu Tout Fleur Rose 30FF

Sunday Funday!  Or that’s what they say, at least.  Today I am preparing for my nursing classes to start tomorrow, and trying to soak up some peace before life becomes crazy-go-nuts.  So pay attention all you super narrow and projected ladies!  This may be a bra for you. IT’S PURPLE!!! I finally have a purple bra!!!! My favorite color. Lulu Tout is a Figleaves house brand, and judging from the lack of reviews or attention I see it get – it seems to be a brand that is overlooked.  I would tell anyone who is narrow rooted, projected, and wants grown-up

Bra review: Comexim Irish Coffee 60K reduced

Back to my beloved Comexim today.  The Irish Coffee plunge is a beautiful rich brown base overlayed by a soft ivory lace that feels more like crochet than lace.  The peach bows are the perfect accent to set everything off.  Let’s take a look at her, shall we? Once again, Comexim wins my heart with their narrow wires and projected cups: Irish Coffee is a slightly different shape than most Comexim plunges.  The tops of her cups are trimmed with a ribbon, and that causes the cups to be more closed off.  I’ve also heard Irish Coffee runs a bit small.  This

Bra Review: Cleo Lily 30FF

I’m switching gears today to show you my favorite unlined bra, the Lily by Cleo, a Panache sub-brand.  Lily has been discontinued but was available in a variety of fun, trendy colors and patterns.  Cleo’s unlined bras – Marcie, Lucy, Lucy’s replacement Kali, and Lily’s replacement Erin – are known for giving incredible lift and a very rounded “apple” shape.  I own Lily in size 30FF.  Let’s check her out in action: Lily is almost a perfect fit on me.  I have a little bit of extra fabric at the top of the cup on my smaller breast, but it’s nothing
