Bra Review: Ewa Michalak CH Cherry

CH Cherry is a brand new bra for Ewa Michalak and the first CH cut she has released in a long time.  This cut is slightly narrower and more projected than the CHP and while both work on me, I prefer the CH.  It’s a cut that’s in hot demand and for whatever reason, Ewa rarely/if ever makes them anymore.  Even by special request, she’s more apt to custom make a bra as a CHP than a CH.  While the differences are subtle in my size range, they’re enough to make me wish the CH style was in regular production. I’ve

Bra Review: Ewa Michalak SM Kusidelko, 65FF

Good morning!  The SM Kusidelko is a very sexy, unlined, nude and black illusion bra that I’ve had my eyes on for quite some time.  I was stalking a listing over at Bratabase for a couple of months, but couldn’t afford it and it finally sold from underneath my feet.  I was so sad.  Eventually I couldn’t help myself anymore and even though it’s a discontinued style, I asked Ewa if she could still make the bra for me in a 65FF.  They had enough fabric around and obliged, so I consider myself pretty lucky to have this baby. SM is

Bra Science: A direct comparison between Ewa Michalak CH(P) & Comexim 3 part half cups

Good morning loyal readers.  As promised, I’ve worked up a massive blog post in an attempt to compare two very similar bra styles by two different Polish manufacturers.  Firstly, let’s review how each company sizes their bras: Ewa Michalak uses the European sizing system for her band sizes, so the band numbers are done in centimeters and each size up is counted by 5.  60 = 28 band, 65 = 30 band, 70 = 32 band, etc.  She then uses the UK sizing system for her cup letters, and each cup size is scaled up by 1.”  UK cups follow the pattern

Bra Review: Comexim Luna, 60HH

As promised, today I am writing about the lovely Luna I was lucky enough to grab secondhand.  Comexim Luna is a long discontinued style, and looks exactly how its name implies.  Luna means “moon,” and this bra is very unique.  The moon print on the fabric is unlike any other bra I’ve ever seen!  It’s topped with an ivory lace trim and small, sweet bows.  It’s become one of my favorite bras, despite its less than perfect fit. From the front, all looks well.  Just look at that amazing moon print!!  Ahhh, I love it.  Seriously.  I also love the ivory

Bra Review: Comexim Elena half cup, 60HH

Well it’s about time I wrote another review!  Usually I am not absent for a month, but the holidays caught up with me.  Apologies to my lovely readers.  As for the bra: is there anything Comexim can’t do??  I think not.  Today’s gem is the Elena Half Cup, with a specific modification.  Typically Elena is made as a single seamed half cup pattern, which is clearly seen in the stock photos.  This cut doesn’t work well for my shape, so I asked the dear Anna if she could possibly make one in the 2 seam cut, so that the dimensions

Bra Review: Ewa Michalak CHP Groszki I Róże, 65F

Today’s review is another EM half cup.  The vertical seam pattern looks just like Comexim’s half cups and these narrow, projected 3 part half cups continue to work well for my shape.  I was super excited for the chance to get my hands on this set, as it’s gorgeous and been discontinued for quite some time.  This is the most unique bra I own to date.  I love the mint color and black and pink lace/flower accent, and I love that I was able to get the matching undies in my size.  Finally I have a matching set!  I’m not

So, I made a bralette

Picture this:  You come home from a long day, and no matter how comfortable and well fitting your bra is, you’re dying to take it off and slip into something stretchy, soft, and just supportive enough to keep the girls from flopping all over the place.  Oh wait, you have nothing like that.  Because you’re like me – a small band, big bust, and you’ve found through trial and error that bralettes are not made for your life.  If it’s big enough to cover your breast tissue, it’s ginormous in the band.  If it fits in the band… oh, forget

Bra Review: Ewa Michalak Mleczny Strapless, 65G

My neverending search for the perfect – nay, wearable – strapless has led me to the Mleczny by EM.  I bought this secondhand on r/braswap.  Here’s the rundown on strapless bras: by design, they need to be wide and shallow.  Why?  Well, 80% of your bra’s support indeed needs to come from the band.  But imagine taking a narrow, projected bra and removing the straps.  Unless those cups are made of steel, they aren’t going to stay up.  Narrow projected bras bring your breasts in from the sides and out in front of your body.  Without straps to hold the tops

Bra Review: Comexim Veronique half cup, 60HH

Today I have another Comexim half cup to review, and this time it’s the cute and girly Veronique.  Veronique is offered on the website as a plunge, but Anna is aware of my half cup obsession lately and made Veronique as a half cup.  Interestingly enough, this is a single half cup construction, which is how Victoria is marketed and what I thought I’d be getting with Victoria.  It’s probably better that I didn’t, because Veronique – as sweet as she is – doesn’t quite work for me.  It’s possible it’s related to the cut, so let’s explore why. Bra Review: Comexim Victoria Half Cup, 60HH

Look at me go – I changed my background for the next few posts!  I’m winning in life right now.  Today’s review is a lovely new beige-and-navy-lace Comexim design, and mine is a half cup.  Victoria can also be made in a plunge, if you request when you order. Originally I thought Victoria was supposed to be a single-seamed half cup, but mine arrived and is a 2 part cup cut identically to my Sonia.  I ordered Victoria one cup size smaller based on how wide and roomy the Sonia is on me.  This was a good decision.  Victoria is a win
