I’m so backed up on reviews dear friends, and I promise eventually I will get caught up. I have a stack waiting for me! Today’s gem is Madeleine. Madeleine is available on Figleaves for $39-$43 depending on the color you choose. Lulu Tout is a Figleaves brand, and the Madeleine is a molded tee shirt bra available in nude and black. The material is very soft and comfortable, and the bra is beautifully detailed. There’s a stretch lace overlay along the bottom and sides of the cup that extends part way up the straps, and beautiful sheer striped bows at
I’m back today with another Comexim! Surprised?? You shouldn’t be. Today’s lovely lady came via a secondhand purchase from my dear friend over at Brog with a Dog, and her name is Coco. It was supposed to have alterations, but now we aren’t sure it if that request translated properly. I don’t think it would fit me if it had the alterations that were ordered – straps moved in, reduced cups, etc. 60HH is my Comexim plunge size, and the half cup cut is said to be a little shallower and therefore fit a bit smaller. But this bra isn’t a
I’m back today, with another Comexim review. Today’s bra is the adorable-yet-grown up Free Time in a complimentary blue and light blue pattern. I love the aesthetics. I love the contrasting bow in the middle. I love the fabric – it’s by far the softest bra I’ve ever owned. I adore this bra. I’m not sure how else to put it. It’s the best fitting Comexim I own. The band is definitely longer and stretchier than the other 60 bands I own. I have to close it on the middle hooks and I’ve only owned it less than 2 months.
Hello loyal readers! I’ve been seriously slacking this past week – to say classwork is dominating my time is an understatement! So I’m going to try to make up for it today and do 2 reviews. First up is the stunning offering from Curvy Kate’s SS2015 (I think) line named Bardot. She’s a gorgeous sheer black and purple number and for AW2015 is coming out in black and red. Bardot is simply sexy, no other way to put it. Bardot was a huge hit for Curvy Kate and can still be found on Figleaves in both the violet and cranberry colorways.
Sunday Funday! Or that’s what they say, at least. Today I am preparing for my nursing classes to start tomorrow, and trying to soak up some peace before life becomes crazy-go-nuts. So pay attention all you super narrow and projected ladies! This may be a bra for you. IT’S PURPLE!!! I finally have a purple bra!!!! My favorite color. Lulu Tout is a Figleaves house brand, and judging from the lack of reviews or attention I see it get – it seems to be a brand that is overlooked. I would tell anyone who is narrow rooted, projected, and wants grown-up
Good morning lovely readers! Today I am reviewing a bra I’ve been super excited about. Drumroll…. it’s a music note bra!!! Oooh, I made a pun there without intending to. This lovely bra is manufactured by Kinga, a Polish bra company that can be found on www.misterna.pl for a very reasonable price. This is my third attempt at Kinga’s music bras. I first tried the Music II style, a semi padded 3 part cup with stretch lace at the top, in 2 different sizes, mostly because I thought the pattern was a little prettier than this one. However, stretch lace
Back to my beloved Comexim today. The Irish Coffee plunge is a beautiful rich brown base overlayed by a soft ivory lace that feels more like crochet than lace. The peach bows are the perfect accent to set everything off. Let’s take a look at her, shall we? Once again, Comexim wins my heart with their narrow wires and projected cups: Irish Coffee is a slightly different shape than most Comexim plunges. The tops of her cups are trimmed with a ribbon, and that causes the cups to be more closed off. I’ve also heard Irish Coffee runs a bit small. This
I’m switching gears today to show you my favorite unlined bra, the Lily by Cleo, a Panache sub-brand. Lily has been discontinued but was available in a variety of fun, trendy colors and patterns. Cleo’s unlined bras – Marcie, Lucy, Lucy’s replacement Kali, and Lily’s replacement Erin – are known for giving incredible lift and a very rounded “apple” shape. I own Lily in size 30FF. Let’s check her out in action: Lily is almost a perfect fit on me. I have a little bit of extra fabric at the top of the cup on my smaller breast, but it’s nothing
I’m going to kick my reviews off today with quite possibly my favorite bra ever. For those of you who don’t know, Comexim is a Polish bra manufacturer known for beautiful, unique patterns, narrow wires, and room for immediate projection – which many of us bustier ladies need and many UK bra companies do not provide, at least in padded bra options. Comexim hand-makes every bra to order and is happy to do any sort of alteration you desire, including reduced cups, lowered or raised gores, more fastening hooks in the back, narrower set straps, and so on. Comexim uses
Welcome to The Photog’s Brog (Bra + Blog). This is the place to read reviews of all sorts of bras – most probably made by manufacturers you may have never heard of! I’m a devoted to wearing the proper bra size and helping others get well-fitted. Since learning about how bras are supposed to fit, I’ve successfully “bravangelized” a friend from a 34C to a 30DD, my cousin from a 34A to a 32C/D, and my mom from a 38C to a 34FF/36F! I personally went from wearing 32DD/DDD to 28G/30FF, with a few stops along the way during the
